I founded Marsh Law in 2020 to provide direct, personal, and prepared representation to people facing criminal charges.
An arrest or accusation does not tell the complete story of a person’s life. The underlying narrative told by the police or prosecutors could be false or incomplete. When someone contacts my firm, I take the time to understand the entire set of circumstances, explain the legal process, and evaluate all available options based on the facts of the case.
Marsh Law represents clients with criminal matters arising in Middle Tennessee. This includes cities such as Nashville, Hermitage, Donelson, Madison, Old Hickory, Mount Juliet, and Lebanon.
My path to criminal defense was shaped by experiences in law, public policy, and my personal life.
I graduated magna cum laude from Tennessee State University and attended the Nashville School of Law. While completing my legal education, I worked with the Tennessee House of Representatives, focusing on education policy for nearly a decade.
These experiences strengthened my skills in research, negotiation, preparation, and advocacy. It also showed me how complicated legal and government systems can feel to people directly affected by them.
Today, I use my legal skills to help clients better understand the allegations against them, the court process, and the decisions they need to make.

I have trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts, where preparation, patience, discipline, and adaptability are essential. Those same principles influence how I approach criminal defense.
Every case is different. Even when two people face similar charges, the evidence, background, priorities, and legal concerns may be very different. I do not rely on a one-size-fits-all strategy. I offer a personalized defense.
As someone with more than ten years of sobriety, I also understand that people can face difficult periods, make mistakes, and work toward meaningful change. My clients are not simply case numbers. They are people dealing with serious concerns about their families, employment, reputations, freedom, and future.
My role is not to judge. It is to listen, review the available information, communicate honestly, and provide high-quality representation based on the individual circumstances.

Clients who work with Marsh Law can expect direct communication with their attorney and an individualized review of their situation.
Depending on the case, that review may include charging documents, police reports, recordings, test results, witness information, court orders, and other available evidence. I explain the process in practical terms and help clients understand the decisions that may arise as the case moves forward.
No attorney can ethically guarantee a dismissal, acquittal, reduced charge, particular sentence, or any other favorable result.
Outcomes depend on the facts, evidence, applicable law, court rulings, and decisions made throughout the case.
What I provide is preparation, honest communication, and focused representation.
If you are facing a criminal charge, an individual consultation can help you understand the general process, determine whether Marsh Law handles your type of case, and discuss possible next steps.
